filters. The unique exclusive synthetic fibre media
combined with Delta Filtration's dynamically balanced
filter design affords lowest resistance, highest efficiency,

Delta Ultra Seal Bagfilters provide extended
surface filtration efficiency through media formed into
individual dust holding pockets. These pockets are created
by a multi-row space ultrasonic welding process, which
promotes uniform spacing between each pocket, ensuring
optimum dirty-air-to-media contact. In addition, each
pocket is bonded and sealed to its own J-Channel support
frame which is fastened to a heavy duty corrosion-resistant
steel frame designed to prevent air bypass by eliminating
metal contact points between components.
Dual Stage Media:
Delta Ultra Seal Bagfilters utilize a
dual stage media. The first stage is a pre-filter produced
from an exclusive blend of coarse denier synthetic fibres
designed to arrest large particles in the air stream
and enhance dirt-loading abilities. The second stage
is a layer of microfine polypropylene fibres fastened
to a polypropylene backing which captures the remaining
smaller particles. This dual-stage three-ply configuration
increases overall efficiency and dust-holding capacity
for the bagfilter. The continuous filament (endless
fibre) associated with the process further ensures the
integrity of the product and virtually eliminates the
possibility of fibre shredding. The media is made of
break resistant synthetic fibres and has greater inherent
strength than microglass. The media is less susceptible
to handling and system damage and is not affected by
moisture and humidity. In addition the synthetic fibres
are more resistant to shearing stresses encountered
at high airflow rates.
Delta UltraSeal Bagfilters are available
in a number of sizes in the following efficiencies:
- F5 ASHRAE (40/45%)
- F6 ASHRAE (60/65%)
- F7 ASHRAE (80/85%)
- F8 ASHRAE (90/95%)
- F9 ASHRAE (95%+)
The filter media of Delta UltraSeal Bagfilters
is F1 fire resistant to DIN5343B part 3 fibre test.
The complete filter is UL class 2.
