Mini-pleats for HVAC: Delta Filtration's C-Cell

As many of our customers are aware, Delta Filtration continuously endeavours to develop new products that are innovative and superior to the traditional air filters available. In line with this policy we introduced the Delta C-Cell, which since its launch has enjoyed great success. The Delta C-Cell is a synthetic mini-pleats filter derived from 100% polypropylene filter media made from a modified meltblown process. The graded fibre density ensures coarse fibres upstream and fine fibres downstream, giving optimum particle capture characteristics. The media is then taken through the patented manufacturing process. This process includes the addition of extruded polypropylene separators to the pleated media, which gives a unique "V" configuration, thus ensuring low initial resistance and a longer lifespan.

The Durable Pleated Filter:
This final pleated filter is extremely durable with high compressive strength in the airflow direction. This durability also ensures that there is no damage to the pleats during transportation or assembly.

Anti-microbial:
The filter media is anti-microbial. This characteristic is a by-product of the manufacturing process and does not require addition of any chemicals. It is thus admirably suited to applications in health-care facilities.

Environmentally Friendly:
In addition, the final pleated product is environmentally friendly. Though a synthetic product, being made from 100% polypropylene, it is easily disposed of by incineration with minimal detriment to the environment. This is yet another aspect demonstrating just how much Delta Filtration Ltd. is committed to enhancing the future of filtration.

The Versatile Minipleated HVAC Filter:
The Delta C-Cell is designed to be suitable for a variety of HVAC applications. To this end, the final product is available in efficiencies from 65% to 95%+ with the separators colour-coded to indicate efficiency. A variety of depths can be supplied, although the most common is the 96mm (4"). As an additional advantage, the Delta C-Cell is sold as single slabs or as an unbranded complete unit with a plastic frame, thus facilitating manufacturers who wish to attach their own logo.
